The method of downloading a user from an outside source is available to any organisation that has registered with an external body linked to ATLAS Cloud, such as BCS. Registration with the external body must take place first and then the details can be pulled through into ATLAS Cloud.

This method should be used if the unique identifier for the username has been created by an alternative system, for example via BCS.

1. In the tree view, highlight the group within the Candidates folder that the Candidates should be added to
2. Click the Members tab
3. Click the BCS Candidate Download button
4. On this screen you can download all Candidates filtered by qualification or add a single Candidate based on their BCS ID or ULN (unique learner number)

Single Candidate Download

To add a single Candidate:

1. Type the BCS ID in the BCSID field
2. Click on the Qualification drop down (below the BCSID field)
3. Select the relevant qualification
4. Click on the Download Single Candidate button

Please note that the qualification selected needs to match the qualification the Candidate is registered for with the external provider for the download to be successful.

Once the download is successful:

• Select the Back button

The Candidate will now appear in the list of group members as a Candidate in the system. Click on the Candidate ID to access the Candidate profile.

All details have been imported from an external system, so if any are incorrect they must be changed in the external system first and then downloaded again.

Multiple User Download

To download multiple Candidates:

1. Click on the Qualification drop down at the top of the screen
2. Select the relevant qualification
3. Click on the Download All Candidates button
4. Select the Back button

Please note that the qualification selected needs to match the qualification all Candidates are registered for with the external provider for the download to be successful. Only new Candidates will be downloaded. If the Candidate is already in the system they will not be duplicated; however, if an update is required to their details this will take place.
